EndicottHey, we're Steve and Steve, two students from Georgia. We are both Eagle Scouts and experienced backpackers. We met each other on a hiking trip in New Mexico, at Philmont Scout Ranch. Click here to see some pictures of the trek. Steve Howard goes to the University of Georgia studying Management Info. Systems, and Steve Endicott studies Business Management at Kennesaw College.
Steve and Steve started the trail on Feb. 14, 1999. On Feb. 25th Steve E. decided not to continue his hike, so Steve H. joined the following hikers from Tennessee:

 On March 7-10 Steve's friend David Romine joined the group for some cold weather hiking through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. |
 Brad, a.k.a. Optimist thru-hiked the AT in 1997. He joined the group for a week of hiking from March 14-20. |
